ECHA had its 2019. General Assembly at the 1st International Conference of ECHA in Dubrovnik, Croatia on the 16th October 2019. The General Assembly awarded the founding president of ECHA, Prof. Joan Freeman with the unique and only Lifetime Achievement Award of ECHA by acclamation. At the same time Prof. Franz Mönks (who served three terms as the president of ECHA) was elected to the Honorary President of ECHA also by acclamation. We thank Joan and Franz for their devoted, many decades-long work, and congratulate them for their honors! The General Assembly accepted the 2018 financial report of ECHA, and decided that its former Qualification Committee qualifying European Talent Centres will work as a committee of the European Talent Support Network (ETSN) in the future. This latter decision was needed due to the registration of ETSN as an independent NGO, where the membership of one of its committees can not be decided by a legally different NGO.
